How many times in a week should you apply coconut oil to your hair to make it healthy and shiny?

How do you apply it and how many minutes ?How many times in a week should you apply coconut oil to your hair to make it healthy and shiny?
i would say once a week would be enough otherwise it will be greasyHow many times in a week should you apply coconut oil to your hair to make it healthy and shiny?
i would say do it maximum 2-3 times a week...u dont really want to have oily hair as well....so the best way is to do it like on a sunday night before you sleep...put some on and massage it in...leave it on overnight and then wash it out monday morning...and like on a wednesday night do the same thing and like on a friday night when you get home... its best to do it right before you sleep and wash it out first thing in the morning... i have been doing it 2 times a week...and looking good :)
i've never heard of applying coconut oil to your hair, but i do know that if you are taking a shower, that when you are done and about to get out, to rinse your entire head in cold water. it strengthens your hair, and it leaves it soft smooth and shiny. :)
Coconut oil can't make your hair healthy. Shiny ,yes because it is oil. But healthy, no.

If you use any kind of oil in your hair,(not recommended) use it as a styling product. Not a conditioner.
apply liberally abou an hour before you are leaving, then blow dry it and spriz with a nice shine
I use coconut oil everyday instead of conditioner. If you put the right amount in, your hair will absorb it and not feel greasy.
once a week and only to the problem areas as it can make your hair greasy leave for 10-15 minutes or 30 if you can, brilliant product though
i do not know about cocunut oil but i use olive oil once or twice a weak and let it sit for about 10 to 15 mins

=] hope it helps
only a tiny amount 2x a week. Can leave hair oily if over applied.
once a week. I apply it at my roots and all over the showing parts of my hair.
once or twice depending on your hair type
