Where do you buy virgin coconut oil for hair?

I want to make my hair grow faster and I was told virgin coconut oil will help,but where do I buy it?I dont want to go through the internet.


Also is it in oil form or pill form ,does it matter? I saw at gnc they had pill form virgin coconut oil,any help would be great!Where do you buy virgin coconut oil for hair?

Don't buy pil of VCO ..you can get virgin coconut oil at any of your local stores. Virgin coconut oil is good for Hairs.

in any indian store, they have very good coconut oil.
Do you have a Whole Foods or Sun Harvest in your area? Any store that sells organic products will have organic virgin coconut oil (I get mine from Whole Foods). A lot of salons carry ';coconut oil'; but it is actually a coconut oil blend. Why buy a blend when you can get all of the benefits of natural virgin? Be careful applying it though because a little goes a long way. I use it as a hot oil treatment (stick the jar in hot water until it liquefies, sit under a hair dryer with a plastic cap and then wash out) as well as an ';as needed'; moisturizer. Works wonders! You can also mix it with an essential oil to use on both your hair and skin if the coconut smell is too much for you.





As far as ingesting coconut oil, personally, I either cook with it (separate jar of course!) or just take it by the teaspoon. Coconut oil (VIRGIN), according to research, has fatty acids that aid the body as far as anti-aging, weight loss, thyroid stimulation, anti-cancer, and in some studies, helps AIDS/HIV patients (I'm not sure about this last one). As far as the pill, I think you'd get more benefits taking it by the spoonful, but if you don't like the taste, you can try the pills. IMO, anything you cook with coconut oil is going to taste better than an alternative.





ORGANIC VIRGIN Coconut oil is my absolute favorite moisturizer, and mixing it with virgin shea butter or mango butter makes for a heavenly cream :) Good luck!
