Can you make coconut oil out of desiccated coconut?

If so could you please tell me how?

NO...desiccated coconut is use for cakes, biscuits and other pastries.


For coconut oil...used coconut milk or coconut cream usually


pack in tin canned..no added water, just heat it until you can see the oil in it....Can you make coconut oil out of desiccated coconut?

Step1 Grate coconut and put water in it.


Step2 Squeezed grated coconut with water to make a coconut milk.


Step3 Heat the coconut milk until all water is dried up and only coconut oil left in the pot.
