Ok, so for the past like 3 weeks I've been applying coconut oil to my hair on sundays before I take a shower and wash it out. I usually leave in for one hour and then jump in the shower. Should i be leaving it in longer? Am i doing anything wrong? Will doing this make any difference for my hair?

You should leave it in overnight. An hour is not long enough for your hair to soak up the coconut oil's goodness. If you put a towel on your pillow, and then leave it in, it will feel so nice and look healthier when you wash it out, the following morning. No Oil Should B Applied To The Hair Unless It's Really Dry! Even If So Only The Ends Because The Roots Are New And Are Not Damaged Putting Any Oil On The Roots Will Only Make Ur Hair Greasy And Weigh It Down. x
